As a professional dialogue platform, we have a high responsibility in dealing with particularly sensitive data . Here we review the information we collect in relation to our privacy policy. This fulfils our duty to provide information when collecting personal data in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

The following data are required for registration and signing of the declaration and will be publicly visible if you choose to sign the Declaration.

  • Name,
  • Profession,
  • Country

As a Co-signer you may contribute by allowing your name, title, profession, to appear on the bottom of the main front page by choosing “Co-signer (front page)” .

For all signatories we we will include your specific current or prior affiliation (workplace) if this is entered in the registration section and you choose to sign. If you do not wish to include the name of the entity you are affiliated with then please include the type of entity (see below) but not with the specific name of entity.

  • Affiliation – Teaching Institution (University, Higher or Primary), Research Institution, Health Institution (Government Department, Tertiary or Secondary Hospital, General Practice , Primary Care System, Private Law, Public Law – Govt. etc.)
HOW DO WE USE YOUR DATA?
  • We represent signatures with name, place and country.
  • We show the distribution of signatures on geographical maps with the maximum resolution of the postal code districts.
  • We show you signatures of neighbours in your area who have signed the same petition.
  • Via a contact form we enable networking among each other. The e-mail address of the recipient of a message is hidden from the sender. The e-mail address of the sender of a message is visible to the recipient.
WHO CAN SEE WHAT OF YOUR DATA AND FOR HOW LONG?
  • Signatories: The signatories must provide the full name, and a valid e-mail address. Only the name and location of the petitioner is publicly visible on the website and to search engines. One year after project is closed, the name of the signatories will be made anonymous on the website.
HOW CAN YOU DETERMINE YOUR DATA?
  • You can register any time to include your signature.
  • After submiting your registration you must confirm your e-mail by signing the delaration . We then confirm the receipt of your signature higlighted on the List of Signatories page.
  • You can withdraw your signature by sending an e-mail to: ncd-withdrawsignature@protonmail.com or withdraw your support by sending an e-mail to: ncd-withdrawsupport@protonmail.com . To add or remove non required information to your registration (e.g. current and past affiliation (s)) send e-mail to ncd-data@protonmail.com.
E-MAIL DOUBLE-OPT-IN

We only send e-mails to people who have actively agreed to receive them by registrering to sign or support the declaration.

FACEBOOK/TWITTER/GOOGLE+

The social media buttons (when activated) are simple share links or links to the pages of the NCD2021 portal.

YOUTUBE

We integrate videos on our pages which are available on the YouTube platform (embedded content). YouTube is a service of YouTube LLC, a subsidiary of Google Inc, and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

However, it is possible to associate information with you if you are signed in to YouTube or another Google service. If you don’t want to, please sign out of your Google Account before clicking an embedded video to play.

COOKIES

Cookies are small files that are stored on a visitor’s hard drive. They allow information to be held for a certain period of time and to identify the visitor’s computer. For better user guidance we use permanent cookies. We also use session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. You can set your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies.

We only use technically necessary cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking or analyzing user behavior.
